Hard and Soft technology

Current Definition
Hard technology is hard to change and it has rigid requirements for the human. It refers to those systems that put technology first. Automating is a technology to replace human but not corroborate with human and tends to be hard technology. While soft technology provides rich information and options to human and leaves initiative and flexibility on the human. Informating tends to be soft technology.
